Weekly Photo Challenge: Street Life

This is my first entry into the weekly photo challenge.  I’m hoping that by participating I’ll find  a little more motivation to seek out time for photography.

I’ve lived in Ghana almost 9 months now and I continue to be fascinated every day.  There is so much to see and learn here.  This photo was taken on a family get away into the Volta Region.  We stopped at the local monkey sanctuary and spent a little time in the village.  It was nice to get away from Accra for awhile.

The train doesn't come through often, but there is always action by the tracks.

My second and third pictures are just down the road from our house.  There is always something going on here and you can get everything from fruit to shoes to exercise equipment along the tracks.

Spent a week in this little part of Lisbon and absolutely loved the slow paced lifestyle and friendly people.
