This one was easy. This is one of my favorite seemingly random signs here in Ghana.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Humanity
I’m working on catching up here. These are all from the Chale Wote Festival here in Accra a few weeks ago. I did some editing on my iPad using Snapseed for this one.
This is one of my new favorites. He was really thinking about it as he looked out over this neighborhood.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Contrasts
It strikes me as I write this, just how much contrast these two pictures carry on their own. Two completely different worlds that I seem to live somewhere in between.
The first is the view outside my hotel room in Miami where I am for professional development this week. I thought the on coming storm in the sky, the white buildings and the green course provided a great example of contrast.
This second picture was taken in Peki, Ghana. There are so many ideas of contrast within this pic to me. I love the collision of cultures here. The differences but in the end the similarity of kids playing games.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Extra, Extra
This photo might be lacking in quality, but I thought it fit the topic. I spent the last two hours of a flight from Istanbul to Accra throwing up in the bathroom. My daughter had also thrown up in her seat next to this man who instead of becoming upset, constantly checked on her and let her lie in his lap and sleep. Definitely a little extra love from a stranger.
